Formations - General Guidance Disclaimer

The examples provided here are basic guidelines.  You will need to tweak to your actual fleet size, needs and strengths: If you have a 50k fleet then sending 15k cannons is impossible, if you have a 400k fleet then sending 1k shredders is almost nothing. You must learn your city, your enemies, and set things correctly. Save a general fleet and change it depending on the battle.
